The Need For Our Association

Today, more than ever before, with the tremendous advancements being made
with technological changes in the motor transport industry, the need exists to
provide training, knowledge, and information to those individuals who have a responsibility to supervise the maintenance and repair of fleet motor vehicles.
Individuals in every level of managerial or supervisory positions recognize the
urgent need to keep well informed in the growing complexity of the transport
industry. Communication, the interchange of ideas and the specialized knowledge forms an integral part in the continuing education required in the management function.

Meetings

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month (excluding July and August)
where a notable speaker will give a presentation on either a product that their company
has for sale, or a part of a motor truck which they will explain in detail, or for that
matter, an entire motor truck.

Meetings commence at 5:30 p.m. for refreshment, then a buffet style dinner
around 6:30 p.m. followed by a brief business meeting.  The subjects material
presented is usually covered within one hour time range and the meeting conclude
